Velenosi Power Skating & Hockey Development — Responsive Website Design, Content Management System, SEO/SEM

Marilynn Velenosi was a champion figure skater until an injury sidelined her career, but after watching young hockey players practicing one day, she was inspired to help them become better skaters. Her techniques and passion for skating blossomed into a business that's now run by her son Sandy, and is North America's premiere skating and hockey skills development school.

After signing his son up for a clinic with Sandy, the owner and CEO of SynergyPro Solutions decided to donate a new website to the Velenosi hockey school. After working with Sandy and Marilynn our team developed a simple and straight-to-the-point website, one that they can easily manage, no matter how busy the school gets (and it always does). Using our content management system, focus, they can quickly push news out to the home page for things like weather cancelations, schedule changes, announcements, etc.

There is also a calendar on the new site that again, gives them the ability to post clinic and program schedules, special events and holidays. There is a one-page about and history page with a fraction of the parent and professional testimonials collected over the years. You can read about the history of the school and of some of the many charity and community events that Sandy volunteers for. We kept the page to a minimum so that it wasn't public overload, even though there is a novel's worth of stories, news, non-profit events, success stories and NHL players thnaking the Mother/Son team.

We have just launched the new site and our in-house marketing experts will manage the search engine and marketing campaigns and we plan to continue developing the site as the need arises. Look for an online store soon for all the Velenosi jerseys, hats, pucks and other equipment.

If you have young hockey players in your family, we highly recommend the Velenosi Power Skating & Hockey Development school in the Hamilton, Caledonia and Simcoe areas.
