How To Set-up Evolution Software
- Log onto Evolution.
- Click on Software Set-up.
- This will bring up following menu items:
Banks, Chemicals, Warranty, Tires, Accessories, Remarks, Staff, Inventory, Trade, Insurance Co./Brokers, Defaults
- Click on first item. This will bring up new screen.
- Click on Insert at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a blank form.
- Fill in as much as possible.
- Click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
- Repeat steps 4 – 7 for all menu items.
- Defaults:
This is where the default values are selected. Default values are what must come up with every vehicle that is sold - Fees, Warranty, Bank, etc.
- Select each value based on the dealers needs.
- Make sure to set the proper tax rates.
Note: HST is check marked ON by default for the Maritimes and must be turned off if not used in the Maritimes.
- When all of the Defaults have been set, click Save Settings at the bottom of the window.
- Message that say Defaults have been updated will appear. Click OK.
- Click Close the defaults window at the bottom of the screen.
